I know what you are thinking... How on earth do I pronounce that name. Don't worry everyone does. It's Jay. I'll explain when we meet.

Based between Southeast London and Kent, I have spent my entire professional career working in design and advertising. My passion however is photography. It is my tool to explore the world and record it my way. Always looking for new projects, I like to get close to a subject and tell a story.

In 2014 I undertook my most ambitious project to date. I travelled to Uganda to document the work of Soft Power Education, a charity supporting education and environmental projects. A project I am extremely  proud of. I'm currently working on a project to discover and document the work of people that design, create and make. This will become a book that will celebrate the work of people that love to create.

As a member of the Royal Photographic Society and their sub Documentary Group, I edit and publish the groups quarterly magazine Decisive Moment.
