Master Upholsterer Alex Law has spent years practicing and perfecting his trade craft. Having written books and taught countless people his skills, he's now starting to design his own fabrics. Inspired by his home town of Faversham, the coast and the places he finds old furniture. His designs are bold and colourful using photography and digital manipulation to create them before they are printed onto fabric. He then restores his furniture finds and re-upholsters them with his new fabric.
Part of an on-going project to document designer makers.
